Current Vacancies at XLVet Practices

  • Exciting opportunity for a SMALL ANIMAL VET

We are an INDEPENDENT mixed practice seeking an experienced Small Animal Vet to join our friendly team.
As a practice we strive to combine the provision of exceptional, bespoke care with progressive current best practice in veterinary medicine. Our branches are equipped with the usual gadgets and gizmo’s including haematology machines, ultrasound, digital x-rays and endoscope.
Our growing team of 25 vets across all departments are down to earth, friendly and willing to share their wealth of expertise. We are fortunate to have a team of 15 experienced RVN’s and 27 support staff, all of whom share our passion for providing high standards of veterinary care to our patients.
We take pride in caring for our own patients out of hours on an equally shared 1:5 rota. Whilst this is a full time position, we do offer a flexible approach to our working week which could also suit someone seeking part time hours.
Progression and investment are important to us; we hold regular ‘clinical club’ meetings, are a registered training practice, have full BVRA membership and hold additional in house CPD over and above your personal CPD allowance.
Proudly independent in this ever increasing corporate world, we understand the value of clinical discretion.
So if you are enthusiastic, have a strong work ethic whilst looking for a great work/life balance, we can offer you:
    ● A very attractive salary with a 4 day week
    ● Generous CPD allowance
    ● Long 4 day weekend following on call
    ● Full VDS cover
    ● Certificates encouraged and funded
    ● RCVS fees paid
    ● 6 weeks paid holiday (including bank holidays)
    ● Pension scheme
    ● Staff discount scheme and much, much more…
